Hi, I’m Adolyn (ah-doe-lyn) Dar (like...car), the founder of Incite Wellness. I have spent over a decade in mental health and social services from running programs that support communities to building wellness initiatives across Canada for organizations like CAMH, CMHA, Ontario Health, City of Calgary and more.

InciteWellness was born out of my experience of seeing people overworked, disconnected and burnt out. I realized that cookie-cutter wellness workshops were not the answer. In order to change, people needed to incite some change in themselves and the system around them.

I have a passion for creating spaces where people feel safe to grow, connect, and be heard. I genuinely enjoy the conversation on wellness and building true belonging. Our workshops draw from a wide range of wisdom including my dual degrees in Cognitive Science and Drama, as well as my studies in Buddhist Psychology and Mental Health. I draw on convergent wisdom from my team of artists, social workers, psychologists, and passionate wellness experts.
I also draw on your wisdom and expertise, as a participant you know just as much as anyone else out there.

As an award-winning actor and seasoned facilitator, I bring storytelling, creativity, and humor to every experience. My approach is warm and a tad silly, but that's designed to build trust, inspire reflection, and have some fun along the way.
